People's
Postcode Trust
The
People’s Postcode Trust aims to make Scotland a better
place for both people and nature. They want to make a real
difference to small organisations and community groups all
across Scotland through grants ranging from £500- £10,000
What
is the funding for?
All projects should help in one or more of the following areas:
- To prevent poverty, sickness and distress for the benefit
of the public
- To promote, maintain, improve and advance health;
- To advance citizenship or community development;
- To advance public participation in sport;
- To promote, improve and advance human rights, conflict resolution
or reconciliation;
- To promote and advance environmental protection or improvement.
The funding is
for individual projects, not running costs of a charity. The
specific project has to show visible results after around
three months after receipt of grant notification. Organisations
and individuals can nominate a project in Scotland. . Projects
for which funding by the People’s Postcode Trust acts
as seed money to attract more funding from other donors are
given preferential treatment.
