Business Know How North East

Business Know How North East is part of a wider national programme
to forge productive third – private sector exchange

Many organisations in the third and private sectors face similar challenges, particularly around leadership and financial sustainability in a fast changing economic, social and policy environment. Yet there are currently few opportunities for them to work together or exchange experiences and knowledge.
The aim of the business know how and social change programme is to forge productive third sector-private sector networks locally across Scotland to enable them to do just that. Click here to link to their website.

There are two new programmes providing access to business skills to help develop your organisation and its financial sustainability in association with Business Know How NorthEast.
Do you have some enterprising ideas to develop your organisation and its financial sustainability but need some support to progress them? Are you facing new financial challenges because of the recession? Perhaps you're looking to tender for new contracts, diversify your income base or
develop new approaches to planning and financial management. Help is at hand with the new
Realise Mentoring (www.realisementoring.org.uk) through which you can access free, confidential mentoring support from experienced mentors with expertise in the areas of greatest interest and Business on Board
(www.scvo.org.uk/businessonboard) programmes which can put you in touch with experienced business people interested in joining your Board. We can match you with the right mentor or potential Board member to meet your organisation’s particular needs.

Business on Board will be launched to a cross-sectoral audience in association with Business Know How North East at The Citadel,
Castlegate, Aberdeen on Wednesday 28th October
